Earl “DMX” Simmons was a prolific writer and lyricist. His music legacy is cemented, being the first rapper to accomplish having his first five albums debut at #1 and the only to have his first two albums debut at #1 in the same calendar year. To honor the life of the beloved hip-hop icon, BET will televise LIVE exclusive coverage of his Homegoing Celebration Sunday, April 25 at 2:30p.m. ET on BET. In addition to the memorial service, BET will dedicate a special programming block to remember Simmons with an array of films and documentaries starring or featuring the late recording artist and actor.


NEW EPISODE OF “URBAN BEAUTY TV” AIRS SATURDAYS ON BET HER

Episode #201 “All Good” – Three months after the big arrest, we catch up with the gang and see how they’re thriving. Are they thriving or frontin’? Layne is stressed by her shop and her feelings for Deon. Veronica has whack tenants and an unsatisfied sex life. Vince is a successful yet miserable Bar Mitzvah DJ. Deon searches endlessly for a job.

Episode #202 “You Feel Better? I Feel Better” – Layne’s stress builds as her business begins to boom and she has the chance to style Billie Eilish. Tracey’s return to her reality show is filled with deceit and surprises. Veronica’s love life is unfulfilling and she finds herself fantasizing about her college boyfriend Ken. Jobless Deon gets a shock when he calls his mom and a man answers her phone. Vince seems to be a very happy, kept man.

Episode #203 “N****s in Retrograde” – Layne has near panic attacks trying to find the right pieces for Billie Eilish’s stylist while avoiding her new situation with Deon. Veronica learns that Ken has moved back to Atlanta and wants to reconnect. Tracey deals with Aaron wanting her back. Vince offers to help Deon plan Julius’ bachelor party.

Episode #204 “Grown Man Shit” – The girls visit a psychic, the guys, including Greg, celebrate Julius with a bachelor party at a strip club.

Episode #205 “Time Don’t Give You Time” – Love is in the air when the crew gathers for Connie and Julius’ wedding.

Episode #206 “No Hands” – It’s 2010, four years after graduation. The gang is at the beginning of their paths. A peak into their careers and early choices…and loves.

Episode #207 – Layne has decided to keep Deon in the “homey” zone even after he moves into her apartment. Tracey debuts her Lean and Lit cuisine to her Basketball Exes castmates and plans a birthday party for Aaron. Veronica seems a bit annoyed with Ken.

Episode #208 “Strangers at a Shiva” – Vince supports Shoshana during her brother’s funeral. Shoshana spends time with her eclectic family and judgmental mother. Through flashbacks, Vince relives his decision to become a DJ and not go into engineering. Vince comes to terms with letting his mother down and following his dreams.

Episode #209 – Layne and Deon continue their friend zoning, Layne’s mother comes to visit and to judge. Tracey’s plans to retire with Aaron are thwarted. Veronica feels controlled by Ken and decides to take back her power. Shoshana surprises Vince with a music studio.
