VIACOMCBS PROMOTES NADJA WEBB COGSVILLE TO EVP, PROGRAMMING OPERATIONS & BUSINESS AND LEGAL AFFAIRS FOR BET
NEW YORK, NY Thursday, March 12, 2020 – BET (a subsidiary of ViacomCBS Inc., NASDAQ: VIACA, VIAC), the nation's leading provider of quality content for African-American audiences, announced today that Nadja Webb Cogsville has been promoted to Executive Vice President, Programming Operations & Business and Legal Affairs for BET, expanding the scope from her previous responsibilities as Senior Vice President & Deputy General Counsel, Business and Legal Affairs, ViacomCBS. In this new role, she will dual-report to BET President Scott Mills and Jonathan Anschell, Executive Vice President and General Counsel, ViacomCBS Media Networks.
Webb Cogsville will now oversee all Programming Operations functions in support of the Scripted, Unscripted and Music & Specials Programming business units that create and commission content for BET and BET+. She will continue to lead business and legal affairs for BET.

During her tenure with ViacomCBS, Webb Cogsville’s expertise has contributed billions of dollars in revenue-driving outcomes for the business and she was most recently named one of The Hollywood Reporter’s Top 20 Dealmakers of 2019 for her work with BET.

Prior to joining ViacomCBS, Webb Cogsville was Senior Counsel at Atlantic Recording Corporation, Counsel at Sony Music Entertainment Inc. and an Associate at the law firm of Weil, Gotshal & Manges. She holds a Juris Doctorate from Harvard University and a Bachelors's degree from Wesleyan.
