As the popularity of NBA stars like Chris Paul and Steph Curry increases, the National Basketball Players Association partnered with BET Networks to launch the 1st annual “PLAYERS’ AWARDS” — a show for players by players to recognize career achievements, off-court charity work, and positive influence had in their communities. Hosted by SNL’s Jay Pharaoh and taped at the historic Penn & Teller Theater in The Rio Las Vegas Hotel and Casino, “THE PLAYERS’ AWARDS” scored huge with all-star performances by Lil Wayne, 2 Chainz, Jason Derulo, Fifth Harmony, Monica, Kid Ink and DJ Khaled.

Hill, BET’s President of Programming, Connie Orlando, BET’s Senior Vice President of Music and Specials, and Don Mischer Productions will serve as Executive Producers for the “Players’ Awards”. Serving as Executive Producers from the National Basketball Players Association are Chris Paul, NBPA President, Roger Mason Jr., NBPA Deputy Executive Director, and Jordan Schlachter, NBPA Chief Marketing Officer along with Prospect Park.
